Hi, I’m Courtney!
For the past ten years, I've dedicated myself to the art and science of skincare as a Licensed Aesthetician, graduating from Mitchell’s Academy in 2015. My journey began from a young age, driven by a profound passion for enhancing others' beauty and confidence.
Even in middle school, I found joy in transforming my friends and family with makeovers. As I grappled with my own acne struggles, my fascination with skincare deepened. I spent my free time reading skincare blogs on the internet and browsing product labels in beauty store aisles, studying their ingredients in hopes to find the most effective solutions.
While it took me some time to turn my passion into a profession, I finally took the leap, realizing my dream of empowering others to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Today, I specialize in crafting custom luxury facials, targeted acne treatments, advanced microneedling procedures, and skin-rejuvenating chemical peels.
My journey has been one of relentless dedication and growth, and I'm thrilled to continue sharing my expertise and passion to help clients achieve their skincare goals.
Now, as an Aesthetician, my goal is simple yet profound: to be the kind of resource and support system that my Aesthetician was to me. Whether it's dealing with acne or any other skin concern, feeling confident in our own skin is a universal desire and I’m determined to help my clients achieve that goal.
My own battle with acne…
My own acne journey started around the age of 13, and has been quite the rollercoaster ever since. As a teenage girl struggling with newly developing acne, I tried anything on impulse —low-cost drugstore products, questionable ‘natural’ at-home remedies, picking and squeezing in the mirror, and the overuse of harsh acids that left my skin dry, red and irritated, and still with acne.
In my twenties, my skin battles became even more complex. I developed Perioral Dermatitis, a condition that would drain me physically, emotionally, and mentally. My self-esteem was at an all-time low and I found myself missing out on social events, career opportunities, dating, etc. Dermatologists were quick to keep writing prescriptions without any explanation, leaving me feeling hopeless for a cure.
It wasn't until I finally sought help from an Aesthetician that things started to turn around. That experience changed my life immensely and inspired me to pursue a career in Esthetics.
